Police on Tuesday arrested six persons including three Indian nationals for their alleged involvement in extorting money from businesspersons of Samakhusi and Chhetrapati areas. A team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division yesterday arrested Arjun Singh Naruka (28), Karani Singh (24) and Hem Singh Jetmal (25) from Rajasthan of India.Likewise, Santa Bahadur Gurung (24), Praveen Ghale (27) and Suman Ghale (25) from Gakhu-8 of Gorkha were also arrested.Acting on a tip-off, the MPCD team had sung into the action. Police said Naruka and Singh would work as masterminds in their extortionist activities while other four would help implement their plans.Meanwhile, the MPCD handed over them to the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, for further investigation and action. -
